Sister killed while pregnant, brother waits months – then hacks her husband to death

In Telangana’s Nizamabad, a teenager named G Santhosh, brother of renowned YouTube personality C Vaishnavi, allegedly took revenge on her husband C Hari Babu for his sister’s murder. Santhosh confessed in a selfie video that he hacked Hari Babu to death with a sickle, claiming Babu was responsible for Vaishnavi’s death. The video emerged late Thursday night, hours after the gruesome attack.

Vaishnavi, aged 20, was found dead at her family home in Jagtial district on March 17. Babu had been the prime suspect and arrested days later, only to be released on bail in July. Post-bail, Babu reportedly started selling corn for a living. CCTV footage captured him purchasing a white car and walking to a panipuri stall in Shivajinagar, Nizamabad, before the attack.

Earlier, in March, police revealed that Vaishnavi had left Babu’s home due to his alleged demand for extra dowry. She returned to her parents’ residence, where she gave birth to a child just a year after their marriage. Babu allegedly pursued her for dowry, growing resentful of her growing online popularity. Vaishnavi posted a video announcing her pregnancy and hoped for a smooth delivery.

Tragically, she died a short time later, with her mother discovering she had been stabbed and strangled. Hari Babu had vanished at that point.

In the aftermath, Santhosh claimed he had waited months for justice and turned himself in to the police.
