Sharjah-Dubai traffic builds up on E11 and E311 during morning rush

Morning traffic congestion is building along the Dubai-Sharjah routes, with the heaviest delays expected on E311 and Al Ittihad Road (E11) as commuters travel into Dubai. According to real-time Google Maps, traffic bottlenecks are occurring near the Sharjah approaches, including Al Nahda and Al Khan, as well as industrial zones. Delays are also extending towards Al Qusais and Dubai International Airport.

Motorists using E11 in Sharjah should anticipate slower traffic, particularly around Al Khan, Al Nahda, and connecting roads leading to the Dubai border. The Al Taawun Street remains impacted by a partial closure and detours due to the Al Taawun Tunnel project. Vehicles heading towards Dubai and the Al Nahda Bridge are now being rerouted via Al Corniche Street.

Drivers planning to travel from Sharjah to Dubai should allocate additional time, especially during the morning rush hour. Recent traffic trends indicate persistent delays on both E11 and E311 rather than isolated incidents. While traffic in Dubai is generally flowing more freely away from the main Sharjah commuter corridors, slower segments can be expected around Al Qusais, Dubai International Airport, and the approaches to E11 and E311.

Google Maps has also highlighted congestion on Sheikh Zayed Road, contributing to the overall traffic buildup in the area.
