The list has been revealed.
VALENCIA, Spain - September 6, 2026 - Luis de la Fuente has unveiled his Spain squad for the upcoming fixtures during the international break. A notable inclusion is seven players from Barcelona, who return to the national team after a brief absence. Fermin Lopez makes his comeback to international football following an injury that kept him out of the World Cup.
The squad also features Eric Garcia, Pau Cubarsi, Dani Olmo, Rodri, Pedri, and Lamine Yamal. Notably, Gavi and Joan Garcia have been omitted from the team this time around due to a knee injury suffered in a midweek match against Racing. The full squad consists of goalkeepers, defenders, midfielders, and forwards as detailed below. Spain will face England, Croatia, and Czechia in the Nations League over the international break.
