Saudia ranks among world’s top 15 airlines, wins two Skytrax awards for 2026

Saudia Airlines has secured a spot among the top 15 airlines globally, ranking 15th in the 2026 Skytrax World Airline Awards. The Middle Eastern carrier achieved two significant honors at the event: "Best Airline Staff in the Middle East" and "Best Cabin Crew in the Middle East," both for the second consecutive year. These achievements highlight Saudia's ongoing commitment to improving guest experience and solidifying its position as a competitive force in the global airline industry.

The rankings have seen Saudi Airways steadily climb from 20th place in 2024 to its current 15th place position, with cabin crew topping the Skytrax Middle East ranking. Ibrahim bin Abdulrahman Al-Omar, Director General of Saudia Group, emphasized that these results reflect the company's continuous progress and the vital role of its people in driving transformation.

Rossen Dimitrov, Chief Guest Experience Officer at Saudia, stated that the award-winning performances are a direct result of the airline's focus on guest-centered experiences, which encompass authentic Saudi hospitality, operational efficiency, digital solutions, and product development. The airline is currently investing in various aspects of the travel experience, including upgraded products, cabins, high-speed inflight internet, and digital services, as well as further investments in human capital to enhance guest satisfaction and strengthen its global competitiveness.
