The 27th edition of the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Weekend & Awards is set to return to Abu Dhabi’s Etihad Arena on January 22 and 23, 2027, marking the fourth time the event has been held in the emirate. Tickets for the awards weekend are now on sale globally through Platinumlist. Karan Johar and Varun Dhawan will host the main IIFA Awards, while Pankaj Tripathi and Ali Fazal will take the reins for the IIFA Digital Awards.

The performance line-up includes stars such as Salman Khan, Shahid Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Janhvi Kapoor, and Janhvi Kapoor. Salman Khan, who is returning to the IIFA stage after its early years, expressed his excitement about performing in Abu Dhabi once again. This will be the fourth time IIFA has been held in Abu Dhabi, with the event partnering with the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi and Miral.

One significant change for IIFA 2027 is the live streaming of the awards ceremony on YouTube, allowing audiences worldwide to follow the event. The two-day celebration will feature live performances, digital entertainment, and a star-studded lineup, making it a major event on Abu Dhabi's entertainment calendar.
