Russia’s Shadow Fleet Shipments from Baltic Ports Rise 10.1%, KSE Institute Says
KSE Institute estimates that Russia exported around 5.3 mb/d of crude oil and oil products by sea in July 2026, down 10.7% m-o-m and 6.4% y-o-y. Of 268 tankers used, 150, or 56%, were shadow fleet vessels; 93% of shadow tankers were over 15 years old. Shadow fleet shipments from Baltic Sea ports rose 10.1% m-o-m and 21.2% y-o-y.
