The Super Bowl champion, 37, joined the CBS team of analysts on September 13 to cover the Vikings-Packers game. At a panel discussion in New York City, Wilson discussed the "hardest part" of the transition, which he described as leaving the game.

Despite this, Wilson praised his new colleagues, including Hall of Fame coach Bill Cowher, with whom he has worked alongside in his new role. Wilson, who announced his retirement from the NFL in June after 14 seasons, emphasized the importance of gratitude and not living in the past as he begins this new chapter.
