RC Lens has named Jean-Clair Todibo as their starting defender for the upcoming match against AS Monaco. This comes as a surprise following the sudden departure of manager Dino Toppmoller earlier in the week. Yannick Cahuzac, Toppmoller's assistant, will take charge of the team on an interim basis. Lens is currently without several key players, including Maik Nawrocki, Yacine Titraoui, Saud Abdulhamid, and Samson Baidoo, which limits their options in defense.
Jonathan Gradit, who has returned from a leg injury, is set to start in defense once again. West Ham loanee Todibo could also feature in the team. The predicted lineup for the match is as follows: Robin Risser in goal; Jean-Clair Todibo, Ismaelo Ganiou, and Jonathan Gradit in defense; Matthieu Udol, Andrija Bulatovic, and Amadou Haidara in midfield; Ruben Aguilar, Odsonne Édouard, and Florian Thauvin in attack.
