Razer Tartarus V2 Pro Arrives In Malaysia With 8KHz Polling, TMR Thumbstick

Razer has unveiled the Tartarus V2 Pro, a high-performance gaming keypad that arrives in Malaysia with a host of enhancements. The Pro iteration of the previously released Tartarus V2 keyboard takes nine years to launch. Despite its familiar design, the new model introduces several advanced features.

One of the key additions is Rapid Trigger Mode, alongside Razer Snap Flex, Razer Snap Tap, and Dynamic Keystroke. This gaming keypad can keep up with the action by supporting up to 8,000Hz HyperPolling. It boasts a total of 31 programmable controls, with up to 24 customizable keymaps across three onboard profiles accessible through the Synapse app.

Moreover, the Tartarus V2 Pro incorporates Razer's cutting-edge Analog Optical Switches Gen-2, allowing users to customize the actuation range between 0.1 and 4.0mm. Each key is also fitted with lubrication and sits in a dense foam layer for smoother operation.

Beyond the switches and buttons, the Tartarus V2 Pro features an adjustable wrist rest. This customizable accessory can be moved in both horizontal and vertical directions, enabling users to position their hands more comfortably. The keypad also houses a full-sized, anti-drift TMR thumbstick. This thumbstick is surrounded by three buttons, including the Razer Hypershift Button, the Keymap Cycle Button, and the Profile Cycle Button.

The upgrades in the Tartarus V2 Pro come with a price hike. The device is priced at RM929, a significant increase from the previously released models.
