Oando 47th AGM: Shareholders reaffirm confidence in Management

Oando PLC concluded its 47th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Thursday, 17 September 2026, with shareholders approving all resolutions presented. The company's Board and Management were praised for their approach to corporate governance, strategic direction, and disciplined capital allocation. The resolutions included re-electing certain directors, re-appointing BDO Professional Services as external auditors, electing members to the Statutory Audit Committee, and approving remuneration for Non-Executive Directors.

Shareholders also approved amendments to the company's Memorandum and Articles of Association to accommodate various forms of meetings, including physical, electronic, and hybrid meetings, as well as provisions related to digital assets and emerging technologies. An attendee, Mrs Bisi Bakare, acknowledged the Board and Management's strategic shift in portfolio development and disciplined capital allocation.

Group CEO, Mr Jubril Adewale Tinubu, emphasized the importance of operational control and disciplined execution in delivering the company's growth strategy. Chairman of the Board, Mr Ademola Akinrele, thanked shareholders for their attendance, questions, and confidence in the Board.
