NTA’s move to find hotels for outstation officials near Central Delhi office

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued a tender to empanel hotels that can accommodate outstation officials visiting Delhi for various purposes. These officials include examination observers, city coordinators, governing body/committee members, resource persons, and other visitors. The hotels must be located within a 5 km radius of NTA's new office situated on Minto Road in Central Delhi.

This move comes after NTA recently relocated to the Government of India Press building on Minto Road, leaving its previous location in Okhla.

The empanelled hotels are expected to provide accommodation on a room-only or room-with-breakfast basis, as per the requirements of NTA officials and guests. The rates for accommodation will be agreed upon between NTA's Administration/Con-Ops Division and the empanelled hotel(s). There is no obligation for any hotel to commit a minimum amount of business.

Bookings shall be made directly by NTA with the empanelled hotel(s), specifying the dates, number of rooms, and category needed. The empanelled hotels may also be required to provide additional facilities, such as conference and meeting rooms, at mutually agreed rates upon request.

The hotels to be empaneled should be rated 3-star or equivalent and have a minimum of 20 rooms available for empanelment. Additionally, they must possess fire safety clearance, FSSAI licence, GST registration, and other necessary civic approvals. NTA, which conducts all-India competitive exams like NEET and JEE Mains, has also invited academics, scientists, and researchers to join a three-year panel of Subject Matter Experts.

These experts will contribute to setting question papers, translation, vetting, moderation, answer key verification, curriculum mapping, research, psychometric validation, and other confidential academic assignments.
