Kane breaks record and Olise hits treble as Bayern thrash Union 7-0

MUNICH: Bayern Munich's Harry Kane scored twice as the team thrashed Union Berlin 7-0 on Friday, becoming the fastest player to reach 100 Bundesliga goals. Kane achieved his 100th and 101st goals in just 98 domestic matches, surpassing the previous record of 31 games set by Cologne's Dieter Mueller in 1977. The England captain had already broken records for 75, 100, and 150 goals in all competitions during his time in Munich.

France's Michael Olise was the star of the night, scoring a hat-trick against the winless Union Berlin. Wearing a special kit for Oktoberfest, Bayern appeared in high spirits, taking the lead in the 18th minute with an explosive goal by Jamal Musiala. Kane added his milestone strike from the penalty spot following a handball by Union defender Tom Rothe.

Olise's hat-trick included an exquisite first-half strike and two more goals in the second half, rounding off a ruthless victory that puts the champions at the top of the table.
