Josh Allen makes early MVP case in Bills’ win over Lions

As the team enters the new season with a 2-0 record, quarterback Josh Allen has made a compelling case for his second MVP award. Allen's stellar performance against the Lions defense was nothing short of flawless, as he completed 20-of-31 passes for 248 yards and three touchdowns without an interception, while also contributing with 69 rushing yards and two more touchdowns.

With these remarkable statistics, Allen has joined an elite group of players who have achieved 5 or more passing touchdowns and 4 or more rushing touchdowns in a two-game span. Only three other quarterbacks in NFL history have accomplished this feat: Josh Allen (Weeks 14-15 2024), Josh Allen (Weeks 13-14 2024), and Eric Hipple (Weeks 7-8 1981).

Allen's dominance continued from the previous week's performance against the Houston Texans.
