Robert Saleh's tenure as head coach of the Tennessee Titans appears secure for the foreseeable future, despite a rough start to his first season. The 49ers' defensive coordinator took over in Nashville after one year, hoping to bring a fresh perspective to the team. However, the Titans suffered a significant defeat against their former squad, the New York Jets, which has created a tense atmosphere within the organization.

Much of the pressure now rests on quarterback Cam Ward, who is entering his second season with the team. Ward has already experienced multiple coaching changes throughout his career, which can prove challenging for a young player. Therefore, Bleacher Report's Brad Gagnon believes Saleh's position is safe at least through the 2027 season, placing him under the "First-Year Cool" category among coaches facing uncertainty in their first three years.

Saleh's track record as head coach of the Jets, where he managed a 20-36 record over three-and-a-half seasons, raises concerns about his ability to rebuild a struggling organization.
