‘If anything happens to me’: BJP’s Ravneet Singh Bittu claims attack on convoy

Former Union minister of state Ravneet Singh Bittu alleged that his convoy was attacked in Batala, Punjab, while he was traveling from Amritsar to Pathankot to join the BJP's anti-drug march. He stated that eggs and stones were thrown at the vehicle, and his security personnel apprehended three individuals allegedly linked to the ruling Aam Aadmi Party.

Bittu demanded an immediate investigation and adequate security for political leaders and workers, claiming, "If anything happens to me, the Chief Minister of Punjab and the DGP Punjab will be held responsible for my safety and security." Punjab BJP leader Tarun Chugh condemned the "cowardly" attack on Bittu's convoy, blaming it on the AAP and accusing them of a "panic, frustration, and dictatorial tendencies."
