From Delhi To Moscow: Industrial Partnership Discussed At INNOPROM

The first INNOPROM.India International Industrial Trade Fair took place in New Delhi, where Moscow's industrial companies exhibited advanced technologies and engaged in discussions with potential partners. The attendees highlighted their interest in establishing local production facilities in Moscow, as well as exploring partnership opportunities centered on technology transfer and workforce development.

Polina Pavlova, Advisor to the Moscow Government, announced these developments on behalf of the Moscow delegation. The event commenced with SRB International, a vital connection in trade and industrial relations between India, Russia, and the CIS countries. Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin encouraged the city to enhance trade and economic ties with friendly nations.

As part of Moscow's Industrial Development and Export Strategy through 2030, the capital actively supports companies aiming to enter new markets and facilitates joint investment and infrastructure projects. India is considered one of Moscow's key strategic partners. During the business meetings at INNOPROM, the Indian delegation expressed a keen interest in expanding operations within Moscow.

Both parties pledged to collaborate in training the workforce and exchanging knowledge on integrating cutting-edge technologies and robotic systems into industries.

On the first day of the trade fair, the Moscow delegation met with the Indian Chamber of International Business (ICIB) to discuss potential projects and product promotion. The meeting between Moscow’s center Mosprom, the Moscow Government, and ICIB signified a significant step towards strengthening India–Russia business cooperation.

Manpreet Singh, President of ICIB, emphasized the potential for deeper partnerships, access to markets, and long-term business growth between India and Russia. Discussions focused on localizing manufacturing companies in Moscow and forming partnerships across various industries.

Participants also met with representatives from the Engineering Export Promotion Council of India, the Confederation of Indian Industry, and Bharat Biotech International Ltd. They were given a tour of Moscow’s exhibition, where they learned about the high-tech products offered by seven leading Moscow companies. The showcase featured medical solutions, robotics, microelectronics, and instrument engineering technologies from seven prominent Moscow companies, including DNA-Technology.

The company displayed Russian advancements in practical medicine, such as reagent kits for molecular diagnostics and automated laboratory systems, relevant to India's needs. INNOPROM provided an opportunity for Indian companies to demonstrate their latest developments, agree on functional projects, and present tests tailored to the local market.

In collaboration with leading Indian institutions, Moscow developed a reagent kit for tuberculosis diagnosis and assessment of multidrug resistance, addressing the challenges of treating this serious disease.

The Autonomous Non-Profit Organization Mosprom Export, Industry, and Investment Support Centre was established in Moscow by the Government in 2019 to support, develop, and promote investment activity, industrial exports, and agricultural product exports. Mosprom plays a crucial role as the primary export support center for Moscow's industrial companies, providing comprehensive assistance to enterprises at every stage of entering international markets.

Moscow exporters have benefited from the national government's support, particularly through the International Cooperation and Export National Project. This project offers a comprehensive range of information, financial, insurance, and logistics support measures, including access to My Export, a digital platform where businesses can obtain free expert advice, analytics, assistance in promoting products on international marketplaces, and online training.
