Forgot to Pre-Order iPhone 18 Pro? Apple Store Pickup Available Today at Most Locations

Apple has launched the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, following a pre-order period that started on September 12. For consumers who missed the pre-order window, there's a 3-4 week wait for the iPhone 18 Pro Max in various storage options and colors in the United States, while iPhone 18 Pro models have a shorter 2-3 week wait.

However, customers can still pick up their phones on launch day at select Apple Stores, although inventory and availability may vary by state and region. In the UK, iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max configurations are expected to ship by early October, with some stores offering same-day pickup. To order with Apple Store pickup, customers must add the product to their cart on Apple.com or the Apple Store app, proceed to checkout, choose the "I'll pick it up" option, enter their ZIP or postal code, select an available Apple Store location, and choose a pickup date and 15-minute check-in window.

Payment is processed online, and a valid government-issued photo ID and order number may be needed at pickup. iPhone 18 Pro models start at $1,199, while the iPhone 18 Pro Max starts at $1,299, with a $100 price increase over their predecessors. Both devices feature an always-on OLED Super Retina XDR display, A20 Pro chip, 5G connectivity, a 48-megapixel Pro Fusion camera system, and four color options, along with four storage tiers, including a new 2TB option for the smaller Pro model.
