Dangote refinery got 60% crude supply locally – Report

Dangote Petroleum Refinery reported that 60% of its crude feedstock in 2025 came from Nigeria, according to its initial public offering prospectus. The refinery sourced approximately 116 million barrels of crude from Nigeria through term contracts with the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited, spot purchases from international oil companies and domestic producers, as well as under the Federal Government's crude-for-naira program.

This accounted for about 116.1 million barrels sourced domestically from July 2025 to June 2026. The remaining 40% of the refinery's crude requirements were met through international purchases. The refinery processed around 26.4 million metric tonnes of crude feedstock during the 12-month period, which translates to approximately 193.5 million barrels.
