In the season opener, Walker delivered an exceptional performance, rushing for 23 yards and gaining 173 total yards while also scoring a touchdown. His standout moment came in the third quarter when he scored a 60-yard touchdown, showcasing his impressive skills.

During a press conference ahead of the team's Week 2 matchup with the Indianapolis Colts, Bieniemy expressed his confidence in Walker's abilities. He assured reporters that the Chiefs would not limit the star rusher's carries game by game, emphasizing that they want their players to maximize every opportunity they have in the game.

Bieniemy stated, "We want our players to go out and maximize every opportunity. Every opportunity that they're in the game, yes, we want them to be productive... I don’t think you want to put a limit on anything. I think the sky is the limit."

Walker, who spent the previous four seasons with the Seattle Seahawks, has quickly established himself as a key player in Kansas City's rushing attack.
