Business : Jati Tinggi Wins RM72.84 Mln Data Centre Power Infrastructure Contract

KUALA LUMPUR: Jati Tinggi Group Bhd's wholly-owned subsidiary, Jati Tinggi Holding Sdn Bhd, has recently secured a significant RM72.8 million contract for power infrastructure works associated with a data centre in Banting, Selangor. This contract encompasses the design, supply, delivery, installation, testing, and commissioning of a 275kV cable connection for the Banting Technology Park data centre. The project is set to be completed by January 15 next year, according to a statement released by the company.

Following this latest award, Jati Tinggi Group's outstanding order book has expanded to approximately RM1.1 billion, offering earnings visibility for the upcoming three years. Contract wins for the current financial year 2026 have already reached RM544.6 million, surpassing the RM460.4 million secured throughout the entire FY25.

Managing Director Datuk Wira Lim Yeong Seong expressed optimism, stating that the latest contract award signifies the growing opportunities in private-sector power infrastructure, particularly driven by the demand for medium- and high-voltage connections from data centres.

With the company's order book now valued at about RM1.1 billion, Lim expressed encouragement regarding the diversification of their project portfolio. Lim also highlighted the company's expertise in multiple voltage levels, enabling them to participate in a broader range of power infrastructure projects. This includes their existing projects linked to Tenaga Nasional Bhd.
