Bungling Asian Games organisers play North Korean anthem for South

During the Asian Games in Nagoya, the event organizers made a grave mistake by playing the North Korean national anthem instead of the South Korean one for the South Korean men's hockey team. The blunder occurred prior to the opening ceremony, leaving South Korean officials angered and disappointed. The South Korean team, who had prepared to listen to their anthem, appeared confused upon hearing the unfamiliar song.

Organizers promptly played the correct South Korean anthem and later the Bangladesh anthem, apologizing for the error. However, South Korea's coach, Min Tae-seok, expressed his dissatisfaction, stating that such mistakes should never occur. The South Korean Olympic committee confirmed they were investigating the incident to determine the cause.

The Games have been marred by complaints from teams about inadequate accommodations and delays upon arrival at the airport.
