Above-average rainfall forecast across most of Saudi Arabia in October

Saudi Arabia and Qatar have reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing security and military cooperation, particularly in addressing regional and international challenges, at the fourth meeting of the Security and Military Committee of the Saudi-Qatari Coordination Council. The meeting, chaired by Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif, the Saudi Minister of Interior, and Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad Al-Thani, the Qatar Minister of Interior and Commander of the Internal Security Force, took place on Thursday.

Prince Abdulaziz highlighted that the committee's deliberations were guided by the directives of King Salman, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman. He emphasized the strong historical ties between the two nations, as reflected in the agreements reached during their eighth coordination council meeting, chaired by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani of Qatar.

The minister stressed the importance of intensifying joint efforts and deepening coordination in tackling regional and international challenges to bolster security, stability, and prosperity in both countries. The committee reviewed the progress of ongoing joint initiatives and explored avenues to further strengthen security and military cooperation, as well as implement previously agreed-upon measures.

Following the meeting, Prince Abdulaziz and Sheikh Khalifa signed the minutes of the committee's fourth session in Riyadh. Earlier, the two leaders met in the Qatari capital to discuss bilateral security cooperation and coordination, along with other matters of mutual interest.
