2027: Obi, Kwankwaso Movement unveils 59-member campaign council

The Obi-Kwankwaso Movement unveiled a 59-member presidential campaign council on Thursday, setting the stage ahead of the 2027 general elections. The council, led by the movement's Director-General John Ughulu, includes representatives from all six geopolitical zones and the Federal Capital Territory. State coordinators were appointed for the 36 states, ensuring a strong presence across the country.

The campaign council comprises directors for various key areas, including mobilisation, women's affairs, strategy, security, legal affairs, and administration. The newly appointed members were tasked with taking the principals' vision and message directly to Nigerian voters, from urban centers to rural communities, states, and local governments.

The campaign structure emphasizes a collective commitment to the movement's broader national vision, pledging to end banditry in Zamfara and deliver a prosperous, united Nigeria.
