She highlighted the contributions of players such as Phee, Aliyah Boston, Boston, and Angel Reese. However, she notably omitted Caitlin Clark from her list of acknowledgments.

Clark, who averaged 7.8 points, 2.2 rebounds, and a tournament-high 5.3 assists, faced criticism from fans who felt she was unfairly snubbed. Many pointed out that while Clark ranked sixth overall in assists at the World Cup, none of Reese's metrics broke into the top 20.
