TSK is negotiating with Israel's Shikun&Binui to build large plants in the US

TSK is negotiating with Israeli construction firm Shikun&Binui to explore a potential strategic alliance in the United States. The goal is to capitalize on the large number of energy transition opportunities and data center development possibilities available in the country. Shikun&Binui, which already has a strategic alliance with TSK in Israel and the Middle East, could expand its partnership to the US.

Shikun&Binui is one of the major contractors and promoters of infrastructure in the US, with an approximate portfolio of $1.5 billion and a list of opportunities, including the I-77 highway in North Carolina, a bidding process where Shikun&Binui is working with ACS. Together, TSK and Shikun&Binui could negotiate a joint venture for a 540 MW combined cycle project in the US worth $1 billion in investments.

Among TSK's biggest projects with Shikun&Binui is an 800 MW combined cycle project in Tel Aviv for the energy company Kenon. The other major project they are working on together is a large salt transport system on the shores of the Dead Sea, with an investment budget of about €600 million. This project, along with a maintenance and operation contract, involves TSK and Shikun&Binui as partners, though it is still in negotiation and not part of TSK's current portfolio.

Like other projects in the US and Latin America that could be signed, they would help TSK reach a portfolio target of €1.9 billion by year-end, which is €600 million more than what was reported up to June of this year. The negotiation under consideration now involves building a 100 MW data center in Iguazú, Paraguay, with an investment of €1 billion, being promoted by British energy company Hive.
