Jarange, who was en route to Mumbai, insisted that the government must officially acknowledge historical records, such as the Hyderabad, Satara, and Aundh Gazettes, to allow Marathas to prove their Kunbi lineage and secure OBC reservation benefits.

He emphasized that the government should commit in writing that no Kunbi record would be overlooked. Additionally, Jarange demanded that the Chief Minister sign this pledge.

The delegation, which comprised ministers Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil and Dada Bhuse, assured Jarange that efforts were underway to address his demands and requested three representatives from his faction to oversee the process.
