Tommy Robinson backs Ed Sheeran as Paloma Faith and Ms Rachel side with Macklemore

Ed Sheeran faces a crisis over his US tour after rapper Macklemore was dropped as a supporting act due to his pro-Palestinian comments. Tommy Robinson, a prominent British far-right activist, has come out in support of Sheeran, tweeting "I support @edsheeran, fuck Palestine." Other celebrities, including Paloma Faith, Ms Rachel, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Bernie Sanders, Greta Thunberg, and Boy George, have also criticized the decision to remove Macklemore from the tour.

Some of Sheeran's collaborators, such as Finneas, Aaron Rowe, and the Irish folk group Beoga, have withdrawn from the tour in solidarity. Macklemore has donated $1 million earned from the tour to Palestinian aid groups, challenging billionaire Robert Kraft to match his donation. Sheeran has offered to donate an additional $2 million to aid in the region. Kraft has vowed to match the $1 million donation.
