Titans star takes shot at Eagles’ Jalen Hurts before Week 2: ‘Make [him] be a QB’

Tennessee Titans defensive end Jeffery Simmons has made it clear that he intends to pressure Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts from the start of their Week 2 matchup at Nissan Stadium. Simmons, known for his ability to disrupt plays, believes the key to stopping Hurts is to make him rely solely on his arm. "We just need to make Jalen Hurts be a QB," Simmons stated on Wednesday, seemingly aiming commentary at the Eagles' star player.

Hurts has evolved into a formidable passer, but his knack for breaking tackles and running with the ball adds another layer of difficulty. Eagles' offensive success will hinge on Hurts being able to elude Simmons' pressure, which could prove challenging, especially with Landon Dickerson sidelined on injured reserve and Drew Kendall stepping in as the starter for the Titans.
