The leakers disagree, but we might just get one AMD-shaped mid-range GPU through all of 2027

The hardware market remains in a state of limbo due to a global memory shortage, causing released products to command exorbitant prices. According to a well-informed hardware leaker named Kepler_L2, AMD will likely release only one new GPU next year, which is expected to power the Xbox Project Helix slated for a 2027 release. This mid-range GPU, referred to by the codename AT2, contradicts earlier rumors about the existence of an AT0 GPU with 96 compute units, which was anticipated to compete with Nvidia's RTX 6080-level GPU.

While AMD has not confirmed this, industry whispers have suggested that the AT0 would be released alongside the console launch. Consequently, it appears that AMD will be unveiling its midrange GPU prior to any additional announcements from Nvidia. It is worth mentioning that a different hardware leaker, Moore's Law is Dead, maintains that an RTX 6090 might still be released.

However, Kepler_L2 believes him to be mistaken, stating that "he's wrong." Furthermore, it seems that any potential Super versions of current GPUs have been canceled due to the ongoing memory crisis, which has been largely attributed to previous rumors that RTX 50 Super cards would primarily offer superior memory configurations.

Despite the scarcity of new GPUs, Nvidia currently offers the RTX Spark, which could provide a semblance of relief in the present PC hardware market scenario.
