Stephen Curry says he wants to be a lifer with Golden State and remain with Warriors

In the days leading up to the start of the NBA season on October 20th, there has been significant intrigue surrounding the future of Golden State Warriors' star player Stephen Curry. The 38-year-old is set to make a staggering $62.6 million in his final year of his current contract with the team. Given this financial windfall, Curry may be inclined to explore the possibility of testing free agency, given that his contract is due to expire soon.

The Warriors, who finished the previous season with a 37-45 record and failed to make the playoffs, find themselves at a crossroads as they strive to make the most of Curry's last years in the franchise while contending with limited roster flexibility.
