Soundboks’ New Rider Speaker Is Small Enough to Carry & Loud Enough to Party

Soundboks has introduced its new Rider speaker, a compact and portable audio device that packs a punch despite its small size. The speaker, which will be available starting September 17th for $599, is the smallest and lightest offering from the brand. Weighing just 14.3 pounds, the Rider is much more portable than Soundboks' larger party speakers, making it an ideal choice for outdoor gatherings such as tailgates, beach days, and backyard parties.

Despite its compact footprint, the Rider can produce sound levels of up to 118 decibels, providing ample volume for a lively party atmosphere. It is powered by a battery that can last up to 35 hours at moderate volume or up to 8 hours at maximum volume. The speaker can be recharged in just 2 hours using the included Soundboks Charger.

The Rider boasts a robust design, featuring an IP66 rating for water and dust resistance, indicating its durability in outdoor environments.
