Shin Bet chief Zini: We will hunt down every Hamas member involved in October 7, across the globe

On Thursday, Shin Bet Director David Zini declared that the Israeli security agency will pursue and apprehend every Hamas member responsible for the October 7, 2023 massacre of 1,200 Israelis, regardless of their hiding places worldwide. During a ceremony honoring top-performing Shin Bet agents, Zini vowed, "to the planners of the slaughter, to its implementers, and to all who took part in the disgrace of the honor and the blood of the State of Israel, and to all who seek our destruction, there is no place in the world too far, there is no forgiveness, and there is no expiration date."

Zini emphasized that the Israeli security establishment will tirelessly hunt down every co-conspirator, from hidden command centers to remote locales, until the task is complete. He stated, "This is our sacred duty to the nation and for humanity." The Shin Bet chief also expressed gratitude for the agency's growth, learning, and success, highlighting its contributions in combating various threats, including Iran, foreign enemies, and cyber terrorism.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and President Isaac Herzog attended the event, which honored agents from diverse backgrounds who have made significant contributions to Israel's security.
