Semperis secures IMDA accreditation following regional expansion

Singapore's Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) has granted Semperis, a cyber resilience and crisis response firm, accreditation for its Identity Resilience Platform. This accreditation highlights Semperis' product capabilities, operational maturity, and preparedness to serve enterprise and public sector clients in the Asia Pacific region.

The company has experienced triple-digit revenue growth across Asia, including Southeast Asia, Australia, New Zealand, and Japan, supported by new hires such as Shekhar Thakurdesai as AVP of India and SAARC business, Ridwan Basri as Channel Director in Asia, Nick Lowther and Daniel O Mara in key sales roles. Semperis' newest study, State of Identity Security in the AI Era, reveals that only 21% of organizations in Singapore and Australia are confident in regaining control of their identity infrastructure if AI agents expose admin credentials, while 93% already utilize or plan to use AI agents for security tasks.

Asia Pacific, a rapidly growing digital economy, is increasingly adopting AI agents in their identity systems, but many have yet to adopt safeguards to manage them, as noted by Gerry Sillars, Vice President, Asia Pacific and Japan, Semperis. The company emphasizes that cyber resilience begins with protecting identity systems, which are critical targets for cyberattacks amid AI's evolving threat landscape.

IMDA's accreditation will enable Semperis to help organizations safeguard their critical identity infrastructure and strengthen identity resilience against sophisticated cyber threats in the AI era.
