Rainbow Coalition: Wike won’t do your job – Ukeji slams APC govs

Political analyst Ben Ukeji has criticized the Progressive Governors Forum for distancing themselves from the Rainbow Coalition, a political alliance led by Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike. Despite Wike's support for the ruling party's presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, he is not a member of the APC. Wike's faction of the PDP, which operates the Rainbow Coalition, has over 100 senatorial candidates across the nation.

This has caused confusion within the APC. Ukeji stated that Wike is only advancing his own political interests, as his party is not affiliated with the APC. He argued that the coalition is not unlawful and that Wike's actions are consistent with his role as a political strategist. Ukeji suggested that the Progressive Governors Forum should reevaluate their stance and focus on their own responsibilities instead of worrying about Wike's actions.
