Qatar, Singapore co-chair implementation, monitoring mechanism meeting of high-level joint committee

Doha saw a meeting on Wednesday where the Ministers of State for Foreign Affairs of Qatar, H E Sultan bin Saad Al Muraikhi, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Singapore, H E Dr. Vivian Balakrishnan, co-chaired the implementation monitoring mechanism of the High-Level Joint Committee. The gathering aimed to explore the bilateral ties between the two nations and identify methods to bolster and evolve them across various sectors.

During the discussion, both parties expressed satisfaction with the advancements made so far. They also agreed on the importance of adhering to the outcomes from the third meeting of the implementation monitoring mechanism. To ensure the continued development of the relationship, they decided to follow up on these outcomes through diplomatic channels and specialized technical working committees.

Furthermore, it was decided that the fourth meeting of the implementation monitoring mechanism would be held in Singapore in 2027, further solidifying the commitment to strengthen and expand the partnership between Qatar and Singapore.
