NOMAD Power Solutions files expanded business disclosure

NOMAD Power Solutions has filed an amended Form 8-K with the SEC, revealing expanded business and financial details following its merger with NOMAD Transportable Power Systems in July 2026. The filing includes audited financials through December 31, 2025, pro forma combined statements, and operational specifics. Post-merger, NOMAD Transportable Power Systems received $16.5 million in cash, much of which was used to settle bank debts and other financial obligations.

The company's revenue surged to $9.4 million in 2025, up from $2.3 million in 2024, with deferred revenue at $8.2 million as of December 31, 2025. NOMAD secured a $9.5 million U.S. Department of Energy award to support energy storage systems in rural Vermont. Their Voyager platform comprises containerized, transportable power and energy-storage systems that can be installed and operational within an hour, without requiring new grid infrastructure.

Designed for various applications, NOMAD systems have been deployed on utility grids in the U.S., including a peak-shaving installation for DSO Electric Cooperative that saved over $150,000 and transitioned to equipment purchase. Another system provided backup power during a utility outage in Vermont. NOMAD's partnerships encompass a California utility, the DOE, the Electric Power Research Institute, Missanabie Cree First Nation, Today’s Power, and SparkCharge.
