New Times Shipbuilding Co. Ltd. has contracted TMC Compressors (TMC) to provide the marine compressed air systems for eight large container vessels being built for A.P. Moller – Maersk. Each of the eight 18,600 TEU container ships will feature a complete marine compressed air system from TMC, including compressors for control and service air onboard.
Both ships will have the same specifications and will be delivered in 2029 and 2030. Measuring 366 meters in length and 58.6 meters in breadth, these vessels are smaller than the current maximum container vessel length of 400 meters.
