Nashik: Yuva Sena Leader Releases Stray Dogs Inside Niphad Nagar Panchayat Office Over Rising Dog Menace |VIDEO

In Nashik, a protest against the rising stray dog menace deviated from the norm when Yuva Sena leader Vikram Randhave released puppies inside the Niphad Nagar Panchayat office. The protest occurred due to repeated complaints about the stray dog population, which had been steadily increasing, causing distress for citizens. Randhave argued that the administration had ignored the complaints, despite numerous representations for a solution.

Puppies were brought into the office in small sacks and then released onto the Chief Officer's table, causing them to become frightened and wander around. As a part of the protest, Randhave placed a garland made of currency notes on the officer's table. The main demands included a sterilisation drive and a system to control the stray dog population.

Randhave's protest was carried out during the Ganeshotsav festival, where stray dogs had created fear among citizens visiting Ganesh mandals. He accused the administration of prioritising tenders over addressing the stray dog issue. Randhave warned that if the administration did not take action, similar protests would be staged again.
