N. Korean leader’s sister blasts US drills, threatens ‘more offensive’ response

Kim Yo Jong, sister of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, has criticized the United States for increasing tensions in the region through frequent military drills. In a statement published by state media, Kim warned that Pyongyang would respond with a more offensive action to protect its sovereignty. She referred to the joint military exercises conducted by US forces and allies in the Asia-Pacific region as a "US-led war rehearsal" and emphasized that North Korea's commitment to nuclear deterrence would not change.

Kim reminded the enemy that if their military maneuvers are deemed a serious violation of North Korea's national interests, the country's military will mobilize all available means to respond.
