Man arrested after wife found dead in Heng Fa Chuen

A 51-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the murder of his 53-year-old wife, whose body was discovered with multiple stab wounds in their Heng Fa Chuen flat on Wednesday. The victim's husband turned himself in at Kowloon City police station around 7:30pm the same day. Police found her body on the bed in the master bedroom and confirmed she had died at the scene.

Forensic examination revealed that she sustained multiple knife wounds, including to her neck, waist and hands. Assistant District Commander (crime) Kwan Chun-ting stated that the incident is believed to have occurred between early morning and later in the day on September 16. The arrested man allegedly used a kitchen knife to attack his wife.

He was arrested on suspicion of murder and is currently detained for further investigation. Police noted that the woman was a housewife while the man worked as an IT professional with a stable income. The couple had two sons aged 22 and 15, and there were no prior records of domestic violence or disputes between them.
