As the 26th Knesset elections in Israel approach on October 27, voters are faced with a diverse array of parties seeking their support. Established parties like Likud and Blue and White face competition from smaller parties vying for a share of the vote within a razor-thin threshold.

Former IDF brigadier general Ofer Winter has founded the People of Israel party, positioning it firmly on the right-wing spectrum. Winter has pledged to back Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for the role, while advocating for fresh faces in the Knesset who were not part of the October 7 political or security failures. His party highlights issues like haredi enlistment and voluntary emigration from Gaza as key priorities.

On the other side, Haredi Public Party, led by Moti Leitner, is pushing to reshape the ultra-Orthodox community. Leitner, a former Beit Shemesh deputy mayor, stresses that most haredi men should serve in the military or national service, alongside demands for improved education and support for haredi immigrants. The party aims to challenge established haredi parties Shas and UTJ within their community.

Sharren Haskel's Israel First party presents a unique right-wing alternative, advocating for a broad Zionist government independent of haredi or Arab parties. Haskel, a former deputy foreign minister, is open to forming a coalition with various parties, excluding dependency on specific groups. Her party aims to secure six mandates without aligning with either the ultra-Orthodox or Arab factions, hoping to influence Netanyahu's coalition-building decisions.
