‘Light Diya For PM Modi's Birthday, But Answer First...' Congress' Jitu Patwari Rakes Up Deaths Due To Toxic Medicine Water & Liquor During BJP Chief Nitin Nabin's MP Visit

Madhya Pradesh Congress chief Jitu Patwari has criticized the BJP government ahead of BJP national president Nitin Nabin's visit to Indore, demanding that Nabin question the state government over alleged deaths linked to toxic medicines, liquor, and contaminated water. The target of Patwari's criticism comes as Nabin arrives in Indore on September 17 to launch the Swamitva Yojana registration process.

Patwari has highlighted six key issues, including the deaths of tribal children in Balaghat, infants' deaths at Indore hospital, and a case of spurious liquor in Sagar, resulting in more than 100 deaths. He questioned why these deaths occurred, how the toxic medicine, liquor, and contaminated water reached the affected individuals, and whether accountability had been established.

Patwari also called attention to infant deaths at Indore's MY Hospital and alleged rat bites, as well as the lack of safety in the state's largest government hospital. Additionally, Patwari raised concerns regarding the Sagar spurious liquor case and the ongoing judicial inquiry into contaminated water in Indore, which confirmed 24 deaths, although the actual number may be higher.
