Klopp names 44 players in two Germany squads as he turns the Nations League into an audition

Jürgen Klopp has selected two Germany squads for the upcoming UEFA Nations League fixtures in September and October. The 59-year-old manager, who replaced Julian Nagelsmann after the World Cup, has named a total of 45 players to cover the four matches. The squads are divided into two groups, each playing two games.

The first squad, set to face the Netherlands on September 24 in Amsterdam, will then take on Greece on September 27 and Serbia on October 1 at home before traveling to Greece again on October 3. For this group, Klopp has called up Yannick Keidel from SV Elversberg, Hennes Behrens from Augsburg, Max Rosenfelder from Freiburg, and Bambasé Conté from TSG Hoffenheim.

The second squad, tasked with playing against Serbia on October 1 and Greece at home on October 3, includes players such as Noah Atubolu, Finn Dahmen, and Jonas Urbig in goal, while Waldemar Anton, Ridle Baku, and Maximilian Mittelstädt line up in defense. Midfielders like Karim Adeyemi, Mika Baur, and Felix Keidel, as well as strikers Jonathan Burkardt and Nick Woltemade, complete the lineup.
