‘It Is a Pity’: China Could Stop the War but Leans Toward Russia, Zelensky Says
President Volodymyr Zelensky said China is politically closer to Russia than Ukraine and has failed to use its influence over Moscow to help end the war. In an NHK interview, he also proposed a Drone Deal with Japan and warned that 30,000–50,000 North Korean troops have gained real combat and drone-warfare experience in Russia, posing a wider threat to Pacific security.
