Israel trying to 'eliminate' living conditions for Palestinians in occupied West Bank: Report

A new report by the rights group B'Tselem alleges that Israel is intentionally seeking to annihilate the living conditions of Palestinians residing in the occupied West Bank. The organization's investigative findings, titled "The Elimination Project," assert that the Israeli government is actively increasing attacks on various aspects of Palestinian life within the West Bank.

These assaults encompass the ability to commute to work, transport children to educational institutions, access medical care, utilize municipal services, interact with family and friends, engage in agriculture, and embark on leisure trips. The report contends that the current situation in the West Bank is not a temporary crisis or a collection of isolated human rights infringements.

Instead, B'Tselem states that it represents an accelerated and deliberate phase of an ongoing elimination plan, which is deeply rooted in the Israeli apartheid regime and driven by a settler-colonial ideology centered on dispossession, displacement, and the establishment of Jewish-Israeli dominance.
