Harrison Frost gets the start for Hamilton Tiger-Cats versus Montreal Alouettes

American Harrison Frost is set to start for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats against the Montreal Alouettes in the annual Hall of Fame game. This comes after Canadian Tre Ford was sidelined due to a head injury. The quarterback situation at Hamilton has been unpredictable since veteran Bo Levi Mitchell suffered a serious ankle injury on July 5.

Jake Dolegala, Ford and Frost have all taken the field since Mitchell's departure. The loss of Mitchell has been a significant blow to Hamilton, as he was the East Division's standout player over the past two seasons. Coach Scott Milanovich acknowledges that the constant changes in quarterbacks have been challenging for the team's offence, as players must adjust to different styles and play calls.

Montreal's quarterback Davis Alexander is expected to start his 14th consecutive game. The Alouettes have a strong passing attack led by receiver Tyson Philpot and Tyler Snead, who are tied for the CFL's touchdown lead. Montreal's offence has been consistently strong, finishing second in the East last season.
