Hardoi Horror: Man Allegedly Beheads Sleeping Wife Over Infidelity Suspicion, Surrenders At Police Station

In Hardoi, Uttar Pradesh, a man named Parvez allegedly beheaded his sleeping wife, Nagma, after suspecting her of infidelity, before surrendering to the police, according to a report. The incident occurred at their rented home in Islamnagar Tiliya locality in early Wednesday.

Parvez had been married to Nagma for nearly 12 years, but their relationship had strained in recent months. He had long-suspected her of having an extramarital affair, which led to frequent arguments and discord. On the night of the incident, Nagma was found dead after Parvez attacked her with a sharp-edged weapon repeatedly before severing her head.

Following the murder, Nagma's family accused the accused and his relatives of domestic violence, with her sister claiming that Parvez had threatened her life multiple times. Parvez's mother also alleged persistent harassment from both her daughter and his in-laws. The victim's body was sent for a postmortem examination, and the police have registered a case. They are interrogating Parvez, verifying the family's allegations, and searching for the weapon used in the offence.
