GTA 6 Online might not be coming anytime soon, as Take-Two confirms GTA Online support will 'continue' after GTA 6 launches 'and beyond'

Take-Two Interactive has confirmed that GTA Online support will continue after the launch of Grand Theft Auto 6, suggesting that the rumored online experience for GTA 6 may be a long way off. During the Take-Two shareholder meeting on September 17, it was reported that GTA 6 is a standalone single-player title set to release this November.

Rockstar Games will continue to support GTA Online post-launch and beyond, despite speculation of an online mode akin to GTA Online which launched soon after GTA 5. Take-Two has not discussed the specifics of GTA 6 Online, indicating it is unlikely to be a part of the game's release. Fans speculate that GTA 6 Online could be a separate, paid service, possibly costing $70 or more.
