Google upgrades CC agent with family sharing and task automation

Google's AI agent, CC, has expanded its capabilities to help families manage tasks and share information. Up to six family members can now collaborate using a single Google account. Each family member controls the information they share, such as emails from schools or service providers, while keeping other data private. The updated CC agent provides a daily summary called "Your Day Ahead" and automatically tracks important dates and tasks.

It can also perform tasks like filling out permission slips, creating shopping lists, and planning meals. CC gathers information from Gmail, Calendar, Tasks, and other Google services to create a centralized view of household activities. It runs on Google's Antigravity agentic harness and the latest Gemini models on isolated cloud computers.

The system can pre-fill PDF forms, check live traffic updates via Google Maps, and create shared documents in Google Docs and Sheets. This family-oriented version of CC is available on web and mobile platforms for users aged 18 and older in the United States with personal Google accounts. Existing users will receive upgrade notifications in the coming days, while new users can join a waitlist.
