Fujifilm's adorable Instax Pal 2 is ready to pre-order: Here's where to get it in the US and the UK

Fujifilm has unveiled the Instax Pal 2, a diminutive and distinctive camera within the Instax range, with preorders now open for purchase in both the US and the UK. In the United States, the camera is available for preordering at a price of $169.95 from Adorama and B&H, while UK consumers can place their orders through Amazon, Jessops, and Park Cameras for £144.99.

Fujifilm anticipates the Pal 2 to be released in late September, with black and white variants to be available. The Instax Pal 2 diverges from traditional instant cameras by being a compact digital device, eliminating the need for film or physical output. Instead, it facilitates the transfer of images to users' phones or prints through Fujifilm's compatible Instax printers or hybrid cameras.

The camera supports various formats, including Instax Mini, Square, and Wide, for added versatility. Moreover, the Pal 2 boasts an optical viewfinder, a 1-inch LCD screen, a 28mm-equivalent f/2.2 lens, and a 1/3.06-inch CMOS sensor. Shooting options encompass 10MP and a more subdued 1MP mode, offering a lo-fi aesthetic. Key features also include autofocus, face-detection AF, an animation mode, and a sizable internal memory capacity, accommodating up to 100 photos before requiring transfer or an external card.
